As you can see I’m a pretty old lady from France, left only with some skin and bones! Some think that I used to be a hotel, but actually I date way back to the 17th Century and housed nobility! My latest owner passed away in 1989. Since then I have been passed along realtor agencies and left to rot until now.

Fun fact : My gardens used to have a fountain with one of the Chateau de Versailles’s oldest statues. This particular lead statue celebrating love was made in 1667 by a renowned sculptor and was transfered from the Chateau de Versailles during the 17th century when the gardens were re-designed. It was lost once I was passed on to a realtor agency in 1989 and it was later found in an art auction in 2007. The Chateau de Versailles bought it back and restored it.

Pretty calm life back then! Unfortunately there’s nothing much left of me nowadays and there are no known renovation projects at work.
